Writers Retreat
In autumn 2024 we are launching our first annual songwriters retreat on beautiful Cape Breton Island off of the coast of Nova Scotia. Come spend 5 days writing music with industry professionals and other aspiring songwriters in one of the most beautiful places in the world. There will be multiple island excursions to secluded beaches and craggy coves to make space to be inspired and make some truly amazing content for your social platforms. There will be a Q&A panel with industry professionals and you will have to opportunity to receive feedback and advice on your writing. You will be set in 1 of 3 writing groups and will write a song in a group and a song individually. At the end of the retreat, writers will have the opportunity to perform in a writer's round in the iconic Louisbourg Playhouse Theater. Applications will open on July 1st, 2024. Songwriters will be selected by July 14th. We will only have space for 10 writers for the 2024 retreat.
